BAR KIZUKI will be hosting “Miyamasuzaka, Shibuya: Miyamasu Ishin – Tradition and Innovation Intersect, a New Challenge Through Dance” from Friday, October 24th, 2025 to Saturday, October 25th, 2025 at BAR KIZUKI, a gathering place for wounded dancers. Tickets are on sale now at Confetti (operated by Long Run Planning Co., Ltd., Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Daigo Kurematsu). Tickets here ​ While “Miyamasu Dayu” symbolizes the world of Japanese culture, “Ishin” embodies the spirit of Western power and strength. Miyamasu Ishin is where these two intersect, fusing the overwhelming energy of contemporary street dance with the expressive depth of its power. Street dance is often perceived as something that is difficult to convey sincerity in, or that is often perceived as frivolous. However, in reality, there are many dancers who continue to dance with sincerity, engaging with the pieces. This time, we’ve gathered choreographers and dancers who are currently active at the forefront of the industry. We have created a new worldview that will reach people who have never been exposed to street dance before. “Miyamasu Ishin” is not just a work; it is the first step towards a “challenge” that aims to open new doors through the power of dance.
