Press Release: October 14, 2025 Announcement of the Winning Entries of the 14th Traditional House Photo Koshien ~We want children, who will represent the future, to experience the good things about their local area~ On October 10th, the winners of the 14th Annual Old House Photo Koshien, sponsored by the National Old House Restoration Association
(Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Tomohito Murata), were announced. This project, aimed at elementary, junior high, and high school students across Japan, is divided into a painting category for elementary school students and a photography category for junior high and high school students. Its goal is to foster interest in local history and culture among the younger generation through the exhibition of old houses, traditional architecture, and local landscapes. As the number of submissions and applicants increases, the quality of the works also improves each year. This year, a number of outstanding works were selected after the selection process.
