Margt is a creative unit that constantly reveals new charms in artists and brands with their diverse styles. They have been active in a wide range of fields, primarily in the cultural scene, including directing music videos and artwork for artists, concept films for fashion brands, and directing collections and live events. And in 2023, Margt hosted their first music and video-themed event, “Margt ISLAND 23,” which sold out approximately 1,200 tickets. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of their formation this year, they are holding the “I am Margt” exhibition. The exhibition will center around an installation piece that makes extensive use of archival materials, allowing visitors to look back on their 10 years of activity. As an admission bonus, attendees will receive a special zine created by INNEN, an independent publishing label in Switzerland that has uniquely introduced artists and creators, focusing on Margt. In keeping with the commemorative exhibition, exhibition merchandise includes their deadstock items printed with the exhibition title, “I am Margt.” Talk shows are scheduled for Sunday, October 19th and Saturday, October 25th. In addition, during the exhibition, on Saturday, October 18th, Margt will host the video and music event “MARGT ISLAND 2025″ at Spotify O-EAST / duo MUSIC EXCHANGE. The exhibition will also be available at Gallery SO1 in Jingumae, Shibuya Ward from Thursday, October 23rd to Saturday, October 25th. Why not take a Margt tour around Shibuya?
