Press release: October 15, 2025 To Members of the Press The Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s “Modern Tokiwa-so” Entrepreneurship Development Program has launched, nurturing animators and others who will take flight on the world stage! ~Kickoff event to be held on October 30th~ ABC Animation Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshifumi Mori) is working as part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s “Support and Development Project for Global Animators” initiative. Utilizing cutting-edge 3DCG and other cutting-edge technologies, the company will establish an Atelier Lab within the Tokyo Content Incubation Center (TCIC) that will enable a consistent production environment from drawing to sound recording and editing. The company will also launch a “Modern Tokiwa-so” entrepreneurial development program for anime and manga creators who pass a screening process. In addition to providing digital skills training and management knowledge, this program will help participants develop sales channels and raise funds through pitch events inviting domestic and international content companies and investors. To mark this occasion, a kickoff event will be held on Thursday, October 30th, which is open to the public. Program participants will be announced at a later date.
