Chiba Jets Funabashi Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Masaya Tamura; Headquarters: Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture) achieved its best-ever business results in the 2024-25 season thanks to all of you who have continued to support us through good times and bad. Operating in the new home arena, “LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY,” the team saw
significant growth in key indicators, including attendance, fan club membership, and social media followers, resulting in a season in which the team gained strong support within the B.LEAGUE. While the team was unfortunately unable to win a title, the team’s challenges and evolution enthralled many supporters, strengthening the club’s overall foundation.

(C)︎CHIBAJETSFUNABASHI 【Initiatives and Growth Factors】 The Chiba Jets have pursued both enhanced competitiveness and improved entertainment value, centered on providing “exciting and passionate experiences.” For the 2024-25 season, 1. Rebuilding the team and strengthening our strength by acquiring players with NBA experience, 2. Installing VIP rooms and lounges in the new arena, and introducing special seating for families and groups, 3. Expanding services to meet a wide range of visitor needs, such as the introduction of special seating for groups, 4. Taking on the challenge of creating a “spectator and participant experience” by expanding the production, audio, and video using the new arena’s facilities, such as the center vision, 5. Promoting co-creation initiatives in collaboration with local businesses and local governments, 6. Expanding digital projects and events aimed at families and young people, were among the efforts to improve the overall value we provide. Although we missed out on winning the title on the competition front, I believe we were able to inspire and pride many of our fans with the players’ “attitude of continuing to strive for victory” and “fighting to the end.” The accumulation of daily efforts and challenges will strengthen the club’s foundation and lead to solid growth for the next season, and through these challenges, the Chiba Jets are gradually building a team culture that can balance the responsibility for victory with sustainable growth. This fiscal year was a memorable one in the history of the Chiba Jets, as we finally realized our home arena relocation, a project we had been working on for several years. Looking back on the Chiba Jets’ history, we faced some difficult times, playing games in front of sparse crowds and suffering 20 consecutive losses. Since then, we have steadily built up our efforts, step by step, together with everyone involved, and I believe this has led to the realization of our dream of relocating to the 10,000-seat LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY. The sight of the stands bathed in red was truly moving. We have only been able to get to this point thanks to the support and cooperation of everyone involved with the Chiba Jets, including our partners, boosters, local residents, team members, and front office staff. We would like to express our sincere gratitude. Looking back on the season, we successfully recruited former NBA player Yuta Watanabe and began our quest to win every title. However, a series of injuries forced us to withdraw players throughout the season, making it difficult for the team to continue to demonstrate its true potential, and unfortunately, we were unable to achieve our initial goal. This was the first season since the launch of the B.League without a title, and we are extremely disappointed as a club. With this regret in mind, we will work together as a team to reclaim the title in the 2025-26 season. In terms of business figures, sales reached a record high of 5,171,817,000 yen (an increase of 69.1% from the previous year), and net income before tax was 505,352,000 yen (an increase of 31.4% from the previous year). When we first started planning, we anticipated a significant increase in usage fees and operating costs, especially due to the arena relocation, and we had to prepare a budget based on the assumption that the situation would be extremely difficult. To realize our dream of playing in a 10,000-seat arena and maintain and continue the club’s operations, we have decided to face reality and set prices that will allow us to run the club in a healthy manner and continue to grow. However, even in these difficult times, your continued support for the Chiba Jets’ new challenge has led to our record-high profits. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your generous support. Despite our limited resources, we will continue to devote ourselves to providing high-quality services that satisfy our customers. As the new season approaches, we will not rest on our laurels, but will instead continue to hone our skills every day as the Chiba Jets, striving to become a club that is trusted by our partners, supporters, and the local community.
