You can purchase cute and fun paper goods developed in collaboration with local creators, as well as unique items such as “Stress-Dissolving Paper” and “Unturnable Notepads,” which utilize special paper and bookbinding techniques. The collaborating creators this time are “Inoi Aya,” “Otsuki Kazumi,” “Mitsuba Design,” “Ebi-an,” and “green.” (They will also be there to support the creators during the event. Experience the binding techniques of a printing company! & 50 Types of Memo Paper Buffet In the experience corner, held only for two days on the 15th and 16th, you can try out the printing company’s signature “top-glue binding” technique. Participants can choose their favorite main paper from a buffet style, finish it with colorful glue (solid colors or marbled), and create a one-of-a-kind memo pad. With the cooperation of local creators, we have prepared a wide variety of designs for the main paper, and you can also experience the various types of paper we handle in our printing process.

While most memo pads on the market are glued together by machine, ours are hand-bound using traditional methods. This time, we’ve created a workshop that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from children to adults. A creator has created a special design for this event! For the main text paper, which can be selected buffet-style, collaborative creators will be asked to design new works using paper available at A! Yatta Printing Factory. This is a luxurious project where you can choose from a wide variety of main text paper types that are not available in existing products. Experience the new value of paper x printing and enjoy the world of paper, printing, and bookbinding, which can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. It’s a town walking event where participants can enjoy workshops, shopping, and dining while touring the Karahori neighborhood. Last year, 23 restaurants and 47 workshops were set up, drawing many participants. This year, new initiatives include a “Children’s Stamp Rally (for junior high school students and younger, free participation),” aimed at helping children become more familiar with “their town, Karahori,” and develop a sense of pride in their hometown. Our company has been involved in local projects such as “Kara Hori Rahen (shopping map, 30,000 copies published),” and this time, we were able to set up a store through that connection. We are challenging ourselves to create a new form of local communication through collaboration between a printing company and local creators, and we hope to support regional revitalization.
