But what do we really want to do? The editorial staff of Magazine House’s “anan,” “POPEYE,” and “cococo” interviewed people who value the “act of care” and those involved in the “caregiving work.” Through these interviews, we will be holding an experiential exhibition of “words” that will challenge “my life” and encourage people to think about the care needed in “our lives.” • Date: November 11, 2025 (Tuesday) to November 29, 2025 (Saturday) 11:00-20:00 • Venue: BONUS TRACK GALLERY 1 & Square • Admission fee: Free • Organizer: Magazine House, Inc. • Cooperation: Sansansha Co., Ltd. • URL: https://co-coco.jp/series/event/careten2025/ *This project is being implemented as part of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s FY2025 Nursing Care Work Appeal Promotion Project

Kujira Mukaizaka x Shinichi Yoshida “Is ‘self-care’ a contradiction?” We’re seeing more and more of the words “care,” especially “self-care.” It’s important to discuss the importance of caring for one’s own lifestyle and health, a concept that has been underestimated and relegated to biased perspectives until now. Self-care should function as a gateway to this. However, depending on how it is used, it may reinforce the idea that “I have to cheer myself up, and if I can’t do that, it’s my own problem,” rather than changing the problematic environment or structure. We have invited poet Mukaizaka Kujira and Yoshida Shinichi, who runs a home care business, to consider what “self-care” and “care” should be like, so that they are not used for self-responsibility purposes. • Date and time: Wednesday, November 12, 2025 19:30-21:30 • Venue: Bookstore B&B/Online delivery • Participation Fee: Free *Advance registration required / A separate drink fee (starting at 550 yen) is required at the registration desk. • Organizer: Magazine House, Inc. • Cooperation: Sanposha Co., Ltd., B&B Bookstore • Guests: Kujira Mukaizaka (poet), Shinichi Yoshida (CEO of Dignitie Inc.) • URL: https://bb251112a.peatix.com *This project is being implemented as part of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s FY2025 Nursing Care Work Appeal Promotion Project (Information Dissemination Project). Aging and Theater Workshop by OiBokkeShi Theater begins with “putting yourself in someone else’s shoes.” For example, you might lose track of time or place, or forget things. By acting out these feelings, you can discover new
perspectives and communication techniques. In this workshop, through games and theatrical experiences, you will get closer to the world of people with dementia and consider how to interact with them and build relationships. Experience in theater or caregiving is not required. Why not have fun while imagining your future self and those close to you? • Date and time: Thursday, November 20th, Friday, November 21st, 19:00-21:00 (doors open at 18:30) • Venue: Setagaya Daita Jinjiho Kindergarten Piazza (2-32-16 Daita, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo) •

Dementia makes it difficult for people to express their feelings. However, many behaviors considered “difficult to understand” or “problematic” can be caused by a lack of understanding on the part of those around them. Our program, “What Are You Doing to Me?”, offers participants an opportunity to deepen their understanding of dementia by experiencing it from a person’s perspective in VR, demonstrating that dementia is more than just memory loss. • Date and time: November 22nd (Saturday), 23rd (Sunday), 24th (Monday) 13:00-18:00 • Venue: BONUS TRACK GALLERY 2 • Experience time: Approximately 15 minutes • Participation fee: Free *No advance application required • Organizer: Magazine House, Inc. • With cooperation from: Sanposha Co., Ltd. and Silverwood Co., Ltd. *This project is being implemented as part of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s FY2025 Nursing Care Work Appeal Promotion Project (Information Dissemination Project).
