Yokohama Marine Tower Press Release: October 16, 2025 The first campaign to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Yokohama Marine Tower, born from the wishes of its citizens! ~ Tell us your memories of Yokohama Marine Tower ~ Yokohama Marine Tower, operated by a joint venture led by List Properties Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Representative: Takayuki Kitami), a member of the List Real Estate Company Group (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Representative: Takayuki Kitami), will celebrate its 65th anniversary on Thursday, January 15, 2026. To express our gratitude for the days that Yokohama Marine Tower has shared with you, we will be holding campaigns and special events for you to enjoy. As the first step, we will be accepting entries for the “You and the Marine Tower Memories Project” social media campaign, starting Wednesday, November 15. We will continue to hold events to liven up this anniversary year, and will keep you updated.

At 106 meters tall, the tower was registered in the Guinness Book of World Records as the “tallest lighthouse in the world” at the time. Its light has long been a beacon of hope for the city of Yokohama, illuminating the lives of its residents. As the city develops and skyscrapers begin to pop up, an increasing number of generations are unaware of the Marine Tower’s history as a lighthouse. Now, more than ever, we want many people to once again learn about the history of Yokohama Marine Tower—and with that thought in mind, we have created a 65th anniversary logo with a lighthouse motif. In addition, just as many years as Yokohama Marine Tower has stood, the memories and memories of the many people who have visited this place, moments of youth, and precious time spent with family, have been engraved here over time. Each and every moment and memory is an irreplaceable testament to our shared journey with the city of Yokohama.
