J-WAVE TOKYO GUITAR JAMBOREE 2026 supported by Okumura Gumi Radio station J-WAVE (81.3FM) will be hosting its annual spring guitar singing festival, “J-WAVE TOKYO GUITAR JAMBOREE 2026 supported by Okumura Gumi will be held at the Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Hall for two days, March 7th (Sat) and 8th (Sun), 2026. One of Japan’s largest guitar singing festivals, featuring a stellar lineup of artists on a center stage resembling a sumo ring. Choose from a variety of seating options to suit your style, whether you’re traveling with family, friends, in a group, or solo, including the “mass seats” where you can kick off your shoes and relax for a unique experience only possible at Ryogoku Kokugikan, the “sand seats” where you can enjoy the stage up close, or the “reserved second floor seats” where you can feel the excitement of the entire venue. In addition to the live performance, there’s plenty to enjoy, including Guitar Jamboree staples like Ryogoku Kokugikan’s special chanko and yakitori, as well as a wide variety of special event official merchandise (“OMIYAGE”). Details about the performing artists, event, and ticket information will be announced in mid-November. The Ryogoku Kokugikan’s unique center stage, modeled after a sumo ring, allows the audience to surround the stage and enjoy the immersive live performance. You can enjoy the performers’ stunning performances in this special space. The highlight of Guitar Jamboree is the cherry blossom decorations inside the venue, allowing you to enjoy music while getting a taste of early cherry blossom viewing.
