On sale from October 16th! Fukuoka/General Vocational School/Asao Vocational School Group Fukuoka — NFT art pieces created by students from the Aso College Group, featuring the themes of “Hakata Station” and “JR Kyushu trains departing and arriving at Hakata Station,” will be commercialized and sold! NFT stands for “Non-Fungible Token” and refers to unique, irreplaceable digital data. The works being sold this time are 20 works that were judged to be particularly outstanding out of over 50 created by students from Aso Architecture & Design College, ASO Pop Culture College, and Aso Information Business College Kitakyushu. Sales will begin on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM on the “JR Kyushu NFT” website. This project was implemented as an industry-academia collaborative class as part of the “JR Kyushu NFT” project, in which JR Kyushu promotes new value and the appeal of Kyushu. This collaboration was realized with the aim of fusing the traditional JR Kyushu Hakata Station with art born from the flexible imagination of young people, and communicating new appeal to society. Planning began at the “Industry-Academia Collaboration Class Media Presentation” held at the end of May, and after approximately two months of production, the NFT art piece was completed. At the end of July, the “NFT Art Collaboration Awards Ceremony” was held at JR Kyushu Hakata Station, where the winners of each award, including the Best Stationmaster Award, were presented. Please take a look at the photos of each event below.
