KUROMI, who will release his first EP “KUROMI IN MY HEAD” on Wednesday, October 22nd, will be featured in Volume 321 of Tower Records’ Shinjuku store’s idol project “NO MUSIC, NO IDOL?” Customers who purchase the album at participating Tower Records stores or online will receive a special smartphone-sized sticker. Kuromi, a popular character from Sanrio Co., Ltd., has launched her career as an artist under the name KUROMI. She aims to further spread the message of the “#WorldKuromiPlan,” “Become whoever you want to be!” through music. The songs on the first EP feature a diverse cast of composers active both in Japan and abroad. Talented creators such as Shuichi Manabe, Daoko, Kenmochi Hidefumi, Kairiki Bear, Satomi Shigemori, and lilbesh ramko are responsible for KUROMI’s music, expressing its appeal with a genre-less yet emotional sound. To commemorate the release of this album, Tower Records has created a “NO MUSIC, NO IDOL?” collaboration poster.
