My goal is to travel with my music.” To the applause that erupted, he beamed, exclaiming, “That was warm!” Expressing his joy at being on tour for the first time in a year, he said, “There’s a lot of things at a live show that can only be created in that moment. Even with the same setlist, it changes depending on the crew, and those moments are what I really love about live shows.” He then began “Rocket Man” by saying, “I’ve brought a song that suits this relaxed atmosphere,” and the crew remained seated, listening intently to his delicate vocals, which seemed to cherish and love the moment. Then, when “Perfect Weekend” came around, the crew stood up and clapped along to the lively music, with WIN repeatedly shouting “Thank you!” Then, during “Blind Mind,” where the dynamic band performance created a grandeur, he expressed his passion with emotional vocals bathed in red lights. It was a spectacular sight to see the floor filled with generous applause.

He also called the supporting band the “Crumple Band,” explaining the reason for the name: “Crumple means ‘to knead.’ We want to knead and crumple the music, and then create something new from that.” He then introduced the band members, including band leader Genshi Miyano (guitar, keyboards), Yuma Takemiya (bass), and Iku Yubu (drums). Iku Yubu, who is also in the orchestra pit for the musical “SPY×FAMILY,” in which WIN is currently appearing, praised WIN’s character Lloyd, saying, “He’s constantly evolving.” WIN also said, “This year has been a year of many changes, and the scope of what I do has expanded. Everything I’ve done up until now has come together,” and sincerely added, “Even though it’s a weekday today, all the crew members gathered together! This is how all the hard work I’ve put in up until now is taking shape. That’s why I spend every day looking back on the history I’ve walked, savoring it, and feeling grateful once again.” And even though he’s extremely busy every day, he said to his crew, “The crew gives me energy, right? If everyone says, ‘Go WIN! You can do it!’ then I can do it. So I’m counting on you!” The audience erupted in applause in agreement. The bond between WIN and the crew is truly strong. “I’d like to share with you the songs I discovered when I made my major debut,” he said, delivering a groovy rendition of “Wonderland,” released in 2020. He then sang to the audience, “Let’s love ourselves first,” during “Me, Myself and I,” a track from the album to be released in 2023, before moving on to the climax of “BeFree.” He told the jumping crew, “You’re getting into it,” and when Miyano played a guitar solo, he called out, “Awesome!” He even put his feet on the speakers as he sang, delivering a performance that was full of emotion. Truly embodying “BeFree,” he beamed, saying, “This is what a live show is all about! I want to dive in!”

Of the four tracks on the album, the completely new “First Love (LOVE SONG)” is one that she revealed she wrote the lyrics for together with EIGO, who has been helping her since her debut, imagining the feelings of her character Souta after watching the film, but also revealing that it’s not really a Souta song. He continued, “I believe that love leads to greater peace and the elimination of conflict. I created this EP with the desire to always surround the space my crew and I live in with love, and to be enveloped in it. I hope you can feel that too,” before performing the R&B ballad “First Love (LOVE SONG).” His emotional delivery of heartbreaking feelings makes one want to describe him as “living” rather than “singing,” as he lays bare all of his feelings. Win, who is also active as an actor, is incredibly expressive. Next, he announced, “I’ve talked about love, so for the next song, I want to hear love from you all,” and as the hi-hat sounded, the crew all called out the title song, “U.” Moving from one end of the stage to the other, he connected with the crew, creating a harmonious atmosphere that felt more like “chatting” than “singing.” When he sang “Know Your Words,” the crew responded with a loud “WIN!”, to which he shouted, “You guys are the best! I Love You!” Then, during “Move Out,” he sang and danced wildly in the light cast by a mirror ball, and had a blast playing air guitar behind Miyano as he played his solo. At the end, he jumped with the crew, bringing the show to a climax. Image

After finishing, he made the crew laugh by saying, “I shouted a little too much…” and talked about “stay by my LOVE” from his EP “LOVE SONGS.” He explained that he had been working on the song with the crew during their tour two years ago, sharing the creative process. The title at the time was “stay by my side,” but he changed it to mean, “I want you to be close to love, in my circle of love.” Naturally, the song he performed was “stay by my LOVE.” “I hope you’ll take this song as a token of my love for my crew,” he said, singing “I’ll always protect you,” with warm vocals. He pointed his fingers at the crew and invited them to sing along, eliciting a beautiful chorus from the audience. In a truly loving atmosphere, he kicked off his first tour in a year. Currently appearing in the musical “SPY×FAMILY,” he’s touring the country for the rest of the year, and the movie “(LOVE SONG),” in which he co-stars, will be released on October 31st. While MORISAKI WIN continues to hone his artistic expression, he continues to lead a busy life as an actor. The tour will continue on October 30th in Nagoya, October 31st in Osaka, and November 24th in Hiroshima. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience his music, enriched by the many experiences he’s had living as an actor.
