infrastructure that transports people and goods, is combined with the concept of “lines,” which foster and connect culture and creativity. Artists’ works will appear in public spaces and on walls that we naturally see in our daily lives. By creating opportunities for emerging artists to gain attention, we aim to foster a new form of local culture rooted in Hodogaya, Yokohama. ■Event overview Period Friday, October 31, 2025 – Sunday, November 30, 2025 Venue: Seiten Qlay (space under the elevated tracks between Tennocho and Hoshikawa stations on the Yokohama Sotetsu Line) Yokohama Business Park “Bellini Hill” and other locations Admission Fee Free (some events require a fee; advance registration required) Organizer: PILE – a collaborative studio – Sponsors: Sotetsu Building Management, Sotetsu Urban Creates, Nomura Real Estate Development, Furukawa Battery, Epson Sales, YADOKARI, Harch, Hoshikawa Shopping Association, Hoshikawa Post Office, PANTOGRAPH, Sugar (titles omitted, in no particular order) Sponsored by: Yokohama City Sports and Culture Bureau, Hodogaya Ward Office, CINRA (media partner) ■Related Events (Interviews Open) 1. After three years as a company employee, he began his career as an artist in 2023. Inspired by a painting he made about the emptiness he felt on the train home while working as a company employee, he has been creating works themed around emotions. In this exhibition, I used the motif of “graffiti under the overpass” to express tender feelings that are usually not put into words. SAKANAGI

PILE is a coworking space for creators that opened at the end of April 2023 with the concept of “a free collaborative space for new creation.” Designers, artists, craft artists, and others from a variety of professions and backgrounds can share the space and freely engage in creative work and other creative activities. PILE’s unique feature is its seamless integration of digital and analog work, from desk work using a PC to dirty manual labor like painting and woodworking, and photography. Going forward, the space will expand beyond being a simple workspace to include art fabrication functions, dissemination and coordination of creative projects emerging in the PILE area, and the operation of an art label. ■ The following interviews and materials are available for this project – Coverage of work at the production site (under an overpass or in a business district) – Opportunities to interview organizers, judges, and participating artists – Photos and videos of the finished work – Support regarding the city’s reactions, such as feedback from local residents and passersby, etc. *Please feel free to contact us for more information.
