Culture Experience (CX) Press release: October 17, 2025 “TSUTAYA Trading Card Totsuka” opens Friday, October 17th! ―TSUTAYA’s 6th trading card specialty store nationwide― Culture Experience Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shinichiro Kamaura; hereinafter “CX”) opened its sixth TSUTAYA trading card specialty store nationwide, “TSUTAYA Trading Card Totsuka,” on the 7th floor of “Totsuka Modi” in front of JR Totsuka Station, on Friday, October 17, 2025.

This store offers a safe and secure space for women and children visiting Totsuka Modi, a shopping mall in front of JR Totsuka Station that offers a variety of experiential content. With 68 game seats and a stock of approximately 200,000 new and used cards, we offer a space where customers can enjoy trading cards more than ever before. Trading cards, a game enjoyed through face-to-face battles, have seen their market expand since the COVID-19 pandemic as content that can be enjoyed by a wide range of customers, regardless of age or gender, in addition to children and younger generations. TSUTAYA began selling trading cards in earnest in 2018. Currently, trading card sales areas with battle stations are available in approximately 180 stores nationwide (as of the end of March 2025), and we plan to continue expanding the number of stores with battle stations that provide a place for customer interaction. ■About TSUTAYA Trading Card “TSUTAYA Trading Card” aims to be an experiential store where customers can communicate with each other, with free play areas available to anyone and a variety of official tournaments and store-specific events planned. The first store, “TSUTAYA Trading Card Kinshicho,” TSUTAYA’s first trading card specialty store, opened in December 2023. We focus on hosting competitive events, a unique experience in-store where customers can communicate face-to-face. We hold over 200 events per month, attracting a wide range of customers, including women, children, and beginners. We provide a space where trading card enthusiasts can communicate with each other and meet new friends through trading cards.
