This event will send the message to society that “blocking out information is the greatest luxury for modern people” through 90 minutes of not taking in anything, not creating anything, but simply “returning to yourself.” 3. Novelty of this tournament ■ First event held in Shibuya Ward, Japan Experience “doing nothing” in Shibuya, the heart of Japan, where information, culture, and trends mingle. Held in a city where cutting-edge stimuli gather, it creates a striking contrast: “daydreaming in the heart of information.” ■ First-ever age
restriction for the tournament (teens and twenties only) Participation is limited to Generation Z, who are most exposed to information. By helping these participants realize the value of “daydreaming” and sharing this knowledge through social media, we aim to send a stronger message that reaffirms the importance of “white space” to society as a whole. 5. Message from Organizer: Takahito Furui, CEO of VIS Inc. “I want to make the act of ‘doing nothing’ a necessary part of modern society.”

But how much time do we really have to face ourselves? “Spaced out” is not laziness at all; it’s an act of resetting your thoughts and calming your mind. I believe that creating time in our lives to do nothing is crucial to increasing the happiness of society as a whole. In the whirlwind of information that is Shibuya, I would like to spread the message of having the “courage to become nothing” from Generation Z to society as a whole. 6. Night event “Botto Night” (in collaboration with ONE WORLD) After the tournament, the first ever “Spaced-Out Night” will be held in the lawn area of MIYASHITA PARK in
collaboration with “ONE WORLD,” an event approved by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. Fantastic projection mapping will be projected onto the lawn, creating a special moment enveloped in silence beneath the Shibuya night sky.

As a nighttime program to help Generation Z return to the real world and reconnect mentally, we’re bringing you “An evening of information disconnection and reconnecting your senses.” [Overview of ONE WORLD]
