“Mei Senpai” (written by MARCO/Tatsumi Publishing) Mei is beloved on social media for her unreasonable behavior, such as hitting her housemate’s dog or cat with a cat punch just for “simply getting in her line of sight.” The battle between Mei and her father is especially popular. It starts with Mei getting in her father’s way, and the moment her father tries to reach out, Mei unleashes a right straight punch, resulting in her father’s overreaction after being punched in the face. This video has gone viral countless times, and fans enjoy it as a sort of signature trick.
