Tugboat Co., Ltd. (Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will hold “Real,” a solo exhibition by contemporary artist Kana Arimura, from Friday, October 31, 2025 to Tuesday, November 18, 2025. After graduating from Tama Art University, Ryo Teshima worked as an advertising creative director and art director. He began working full-time as an artist around 2019. His works, centered around his original character “BABYBOY,” express social themes such as the COVID-19 pandemic and war from the perspective of a baby. Her colorful, pop art is characterized by a worldview that embodies complex emotions such as the preciousness of life, hope, and anger. This exhibition will feature a variety of new works, including large-scale canvases and the newly introduced “BABYGIRL” series. These baby warriors, who combine cuteness and strength, deliver a powerful yet poignant message to modern society. Different emotions and situations intertwine to create a new visual experience.
