The base Leica M11 incorporates design elements unique to this special limited edition model. The body is finished in a glossy black paint finish, inspired by the color scheme of classic M-series cameras. With use, this finish will wear in areas, revealing the unique characteristics of the material and giving each camera a unique patina that tells a different story. Operating parts such as the shutter button and main switch are finished in silver chrome, and the beautiful harmony created by the combination of black and silver is one of the attractions of this special limited edition model. Furthermore, the shutter button, main switch, ISO sensitivity dial, and shutter speed dial are finished with an intricate cross-knurled mesh pattern. The stylish black cowhide leather exterior has a unique texture reminiscent of the vulcanite known for being used in early M-series cameras, creating an elegant appearance. Other features include a black chrome-finished hot shoe cover with the “100” logo commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Leica I, a black flathead screw instead of the red “Leica” logo on the front of the camera body, a serial number ranging from “001/100” to “100/100″, and a product certificate included, all of which highlight the uniqueness of this special limited edition model.
