(Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takaaki Kitani; Stock Code: 7803) is pleased to announce that it has subscribed to additional new shares in a third-party allotment of new shares conducted by Sanzigen Inc. (Headquarters: Suginami-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroaki Matsuura; hereinafter “Sanzigen”). Since subscribing to Sanzigen’s new shares in 2019, we have strengthened not only our capital
participation but also our business alliance. In particular, we have continued to rely on them to produce animation for our IP, including “BanG Dream!”, and they play an important role in creating our works. This additional underwriting is intended to stabilize the company’s production base and strengthen its production capabilities through capital investment, thereby expanding our capital support to the company. As a result of this acquisition, our equity interest in Sanzigen has increased to 14.4%.
