Press release: October 17, 2025 To Members of the Press Violinist Yuri Horiuchi and the Tacticato Orchestra will perform “Echoes – Scenes from Childhood”! –From well-known masterpieces to melodies etched in your memory — Childhood memories shared with the violin. Young violinist Yuri Horiuchi layers these memories with the sounds of an orchestra, creating a new and moving experience. The performance will be held at Dai-ichi Seimei Hall on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Tacticato Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yuichiro Inagaki) is pleased to announce the launch of the Tacticato Orchestra. The concerto series “Yuri Horiuchi Echoes – Scenes from Childhood” will be held at Dai-ichi Seimei Hall on Saturday, February 7, 2026. The soloist will be violinist Yuri Horiuchi, who was discovered by Taro Hakase at the “Professional Title School” in the “Untitled Concert” and is currently studying in the United States. This will be the artist’s first “orchestral recital” in which the entire piece will be performed with an orchestra. Image

The program will include pieces that many violinists have encountered during their studies, such as Berio’s “Scènes Ballet” and Accorai’s “Violin Concerto No. 1,” as well as coveted masterpieces such as Saint-Saëns’ “Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso” and Wieniawski’s “Polonaise Brillante,” and even Horiuchi’s own memorable piece, Lalo’s “Symphonie espagnole.” These pieces will bring back memories for those who have studied the violin in the past and a future for current students. The “echoes” of sound reverberating through the hall during this performance with the Tacticato Orchestra, conducted by the talented young musician Takeuchi Kento, will surely awaken memories of the violin across generations.
