Virtual singer Kafu (affiliated with THINKR Inc./KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO), who celebrated her seventh anniversary on Saturday, October 18, 2025, has announced that she will make her major debut with Avex Music Creative. She has also announced that her fifth solo live concert, “Sukukoi/Fukaiai,” will be held at Pia Arena MM on Sunday, March 1, 2026. ■Kafu major label debut confirmed! The project name is “KAF81 KAF×avex Overseas Mission.” Kafu’s potential extends to the world. Kafu successfully completed their first North American performance, “HAJIMEMASHITE in Anime Central,” at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Illinois in May of this year. In response to the enthusiasm shown overseas, KaFu and Avex Music Creative have launched a new project, “KAF81 KAF×avex Overseas Mission,” with the mission of spreading their message to the world. They will embark on a journey into the world, further expanding the foundations they have built together with their observers (a collective term for KaFu fans). The project kicks off with the band’s first overseas solo concert, made possible by the Avex Group’s global network. The concert, “Shukusei,” will be held at the “Land of Echoes” Music Park in Shanghai, China, on Saturday, November 29th and Sunday, November 30th. “Shukusei” is a performance leading up to Kafu’s 5th ONE-MAN LIVE “Shukusei / Shinai,” scheduled to be held at Pia Arena MM on Sunday, March 1, 2026. At Pia Arena MM, they will deliver a stage that sublimates the feelings born from the challenges of their Shanghai performance. She established herself as a virtual artist with a unique singing voice and worldview. Their artist collaborations in the “Kumikyoku” series have also garnered attention, and they currently have 1 million YouTube subscribers and over 300 million total views. Their passionate fan community is expanding both domestically and internationally. The songs they’ve created with Kanzaki Iori, their main composer since their early days, have been highly praised, leading to their solo concert “Fukakai San (Kyou)” at Nippon Budokan in August 2022. In January 2024, they held their 4th ONE-MAN LIVE “Kaiuta,” marking the beginning of their second chapter, at Yoyogi National Gymnasium No. 1. Following their performance at the Budokan, they successfully completed their first arena concert, breaking the previous record for the largest solo performance by a virtual singer.
