The Narita Grand Sumo Tournament will be held at Jubei Sports Field Nakadai Gymnasium on Friday, April 10, 2026. The tour allows you to get up close and personal with sumo wrestlers, and features a variety of events that can be enjoyed by sumo beginners and fans alike. In addition to the bouts, don’t miss the performances you won’t see at the main tournament, such as the “Hairdressing Demonstration,” where you can see how a popular wrestler’s “O-Ginkgo” hairstyle is tied. There are plenty of laughs, including the “Hatsugiri,” a comical demonstration of forbidden moves and unusual finishing moves. One of the attractions of the tour is the opportunity to interact with popular wrestlers, such as handshake sessions and the chance to have your photo taken with them.
