Marinos Official Cheerleaders Tricolore Mermaids are the official cheerleaders for Yokohama F. Marinos, having supported the club since 2008. Based on the concept of “Dynamic & Elegant,” the Mermaids heat up Nissan Stadium, the team’s home stadium, with performances that combine power and elegance. Our activities aren’t limited to the stadium. As official cheerleaders, we bring smiles and energy to the city where Yokohama F. Marinos is located. We also appear at events and sponsored events in our hometowns of Yokohama, Yokosuka, and Yamato, interact with local residents, volunteer, and participate in traffic safety campaigns at elementary schools. Furthermore, as instructors at the Tricolor Mermaids Cheerleading School, we help nurture future cheerleaders. Inspiring children to dream and continuing to grow ourselves—that’s another source of pride for us as official cheerleaders.
