■Introduction background At Tokai TV, we strive to create an environment where every employee can feel proud and fulfilled in their work. While opportunities to hear from viewers are limited in the course of their daily work, we have developed a new system that allows employees to truly feel that their work contributes to someone’s joy. As part of this initiative, we introduced “Chipee” to the Tokai TV 1-chan Festival, an annual all-employee event where programs and performers interact with local residents. By conveying the “thank you” and “support” of attendees, employees feel a connection with viewers, which increases their motivation and job satisfaction. [Comment from Reijiro Yamazaki, CEO, Chippy Co., Ltd.] Chippy Co., Ltd. aims to “foster connections between people and companies through the power of empathy.” We use the power of digital technology to make previously inexpressible thoughts and invisible emotions visible, helping to build relationships where people can feel each other’s presence and feelings. We are pleased that Tokai Television will be using our system for their “1 Channel Festival,” allowing our employees to directly feel the gratitude and support they receive from viewers. We hope that by sharing our mutual passions, Tokai TV employees and viewers will be able to create unprecedented programming and viewing experiences, further deepening our ties with the local community. ■ How to use in “1chan Matsuri” Attendees can access “Thank You Cards*” with QR codes distributed at the venue and send messages of gratitude and support to employees and performers. The messages will be displayed on the large screen on stage and on the event’s special website, allowing employees to receive the visitors’ thoughts. ★Tokai TV 1 Channel Festival Special Page: https://www.tokai-tv.com/1chfes/ *Thank you cards: Business card-sized cards with QR codes handed directly to attendees by Tokai TV employees.
