Creators Match Press release: October 20, 2025 To Members of the Press [Event Report] Rediscover the Charms of Ichikawa City! “Rethink Creator PROJECT” Ichikawa Seminar 40 people participated in the inaugural Ichikawa Seminar and created a poster entitled “Rethink Your Local Area!” On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the “Rethink Creator PROJECT” Ichikawa Seminar was held in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, co-hosted by the Ichikawa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division and supported by Ichikawa City. Forty people, including those interested in design and local information dissemination, gathered on the day and, together with three instructors, created three posters showcasing the appeal of Ichikawa City. A lively workshop was held, with a participant satisfaction rate of 97.4%.

advertising projects while also working as a designer training instructor; Hirock Sato, who is based in Ichikawa City and works on branding, product development, and planning and management of local projects; and Yayoi Mori. https://prcdn.freetls.fastly.net/release_image/33716/175/33716-175-ad45cc74a3443bc3d899e898d9905e82-595×842.jpg In the workshop to create posters based on local attractions, participants were divided into teams to explore “who they wanted to communicate with and how,” and created catchphrases that expressed “the attractions of Ichikawa City as perceived by locals.” The three themes were “Ichikawa Pears,” which boast a history of over 200 years and is highly renowned; “Gyotoku’s Mikoshi Culture and Festivals,” where locally manufactured and repaired mikoshi and lion heads adorn the annual festival; and “Ichikawa City Zoo and Botanical Gardens,” where more than 40 species of animals and approximately 350 species of plants can be seen. The instructor selected a catchphrase for one team from each theme, and Sato and Mori incorporated it into their designs on the spot. With the participants watching, they explained the fun of designing, which changes the impression by changing the letter size, decorations, and font, and created three posters on the spot that convey the charms of Ichikawa City. The posters of the remaining teams will be released on the project’s official website and social media at a later date. ■Participant Survey Results In a survey conducted after the seminar, 97.4% of participants were satisfied with the
participation (Note 1), and 94.9% of participants expressed an intention to engage in information dissemination and design (Note 2), indicating a strong desire to engage in information dissemination and design. Comments included, “It gave me an opportunity to reconsider the everyday things around me,” and “I realized the joy of
copyrighting.”
