NAGAKEN provided full support for the music video for “Beat Michi feat. Robochu,” released by Scha Dara Parr to commemorate their 35th anniversary. The three members appear in air-conditioned suits on a construction site filled with heavy machinery. The powerful music video features colorful and dynamic explosions at the end of the song. In addition, a new NAGAKEN TV/web commercial based on footage of the music video shoot will be released at midnight on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Robochu” features his ally Robochu, a Japanese rap that combines Showa-era nostalgia with hip-hop anthems. The lyrics express Scha Dara Parr’s stance of following their own path, as sung in the lyrics, “I realized long ago that I’ve strayed from the mainstream, but somehow this impulse is unstoppable.” For the setting of this music video, NAGAKEN provided a vast, realistic quarry and arranged for 24 heavy machinery to express an overwhelming sense of scale. He also set up scaffolding and arranged for colorful explosions, further enhancing the excitement of the song with dynamic production.

It really made me feel like I was working. It was an amazing situation. ANI) I try not to get hit (by the heavy machinery) (laughs). If I get too cocky, I’ll get hit. I got too excited (lol) Q. I imagine there were a lot of cranes and heavy machinery on set. Were there any scenes that left an impression on you? Bose) When I first heard about the role, nothing had been decided yet. We had the idea that it might be interesting to do the PV in a place where there was some of the heavy machinery that NAGAKEN always uses, and when we saw it all today, we were blown away by the sheer size and number of pieces! Q. With the cooperation of NAGAKEN, this music video shoot turned out to be spectacular, including dynamic explosions. How did you feel when you heard about it? Bose) We’ve been around for a long time, so we’ve shot a lot of music videos. If you think about it normally, you’d calculate how much a piece of heavy equipment would cost, and how much it would cost to move and rotate it, and I thought that would be pretty tough (laughs). SHINCO) Even if you can blow it up, how much would it cost per shot? Bose) That’s right. This time, we were able to do it well thanks to NAGAKEN. Q. Since its founding in 1955, NAGAKEN has continued to contribute to the local community and society through its
construction, civil engineering, and real estate businesses. Meanwhile, Scha Dara Parr has been active as a group for over 30 years. What do you think is the secret to their longevity? ANI) You don’t want to be a copycat. Bose) It’s been said since ancient times that if you do it first, you’ll be first. If you compete in the 110-meter hurdles, you’ll never win.
