Active in a wide range of fields, including the TV drama “Gokusen,” TV dramas, movies, commercials, and variety shows. He has appeared in the hugely popular drama series “Emergency Interrogation Room” (every Thursday from 9pm), which ran for 12 years and will reach its finale with a movie version released on December 26th this year, from the very first episode. The fifth season is currently airing. He also made use of his cooking skills in the “ZIP!” cooking corner “MOCO’S Kitchen”, which became a huge hit, and has appeared on various cooking shows. He has published many recipe books and also supervises kitchen goods. In 2020, he held the “Hayami Mokomichi Food Trip: The World of Cooking” exhibition at Ginza Mitsukoshi, displaying his own culinary worldview as art. At the Osaka-Kansai Expo held this year, he participated in an exhibition called “Recorded Food” in the signature pavilion “EARTH MART”, for which he provided recipes.
