Machida City Library will be holding the “Let’s Share Your Favorite Book! One-Line POP Contest 2025” for people aged 4th grade through 18, with the aim of helping them discover the joy of reading and become more familiar with it. Entrants are invited to submit their own “recommended book” as a POP (a card created to introduce a recommended book in a bookstore, etc.). Last year, a total of 510 entries were submitted. The winning works will be made into bookmarks and distributed in libraries and bookstores in the city. ■ Application period From Saturday, November 15, 2025 Sunday, January 18, 2026 ■ Application qualifications
