Approximately 20,000 people were thrilled at the town revitalization festival “IBARAKI DREAM LAND 2025,” held at Kasama Art Forest Park on Saturday, October 18th and Sunday, October 19th, 2025.

entertained, making it feel somewhat like a street performance festival. Amazingly, after their live shows and talk shows, even the most accomplished performers walked the animals, played in the zoo, and even sold official merchandise at the official merchandise promotion booth, creating a dreamlike experience that can only be experienced at Dreamland. Even more surprising, the festival’s operating costs are funded solely by the 500 yen admission fee, sales from Kids Land, corporate sponsorships, beer garden sales, and booth fees.

GO!” from the audience. The event kicked off with a dynamic kids’ dance stage from Ibaraki Prefecture, supervised by Ibaraki’s top dancer ICHI, followed by a talk show by the Ibaraki Actors Executive Committee! Two currently active actors appeared. In addition to Adachi, the show also featured Ibaraki Ambassador and former AKB48 member Okabe Rin, and 2.5D actor Kimisawa Yuuki, who recently moved to Kasama. They spoke of their love for Ibaraki, as well as Kimisawa’s desire to become an idol at the age of 40 and bring happiness and hugs to those in front of him. Finally, Okabe, who recently held a solo exhibition, thrilled the audience by promising to use his drawing skills to complete a painting inspired by Dreamland in one day at the venue.

This year, Art Tower Mito recruited members and planned Dreamland. The angelic singing and acting of the children, reminiscent of a musical, filled the Dreamland venue. Next up was the Ibaraki Voice Actor Executive Committee talk show. Voice actors Tomoaki Maeno and Azusa Tadokoro, both from Ibaraki Prefecture, and Chiharu Sawashiro, whose grandmother is from Ibaraki, appeared. The audience erupted in cheers as voice actors, who are rarely seen together, spoke about their personal lives. During the talk show, members enthusiastically stated, “Yonaga Tsubasa, Eguchi, and Kamiya are all from Ibaraki. Ibaraki’s voice actors are strong. Let’s keep spreading the word.” Many attendees were seen dressed in cosplay. Electricity is generated by Ibaraki Toyota’s hydrogen and electric vehicles. Each day of the Dreamland lighting ceremony featured speakers including Kasama City Mayor Nobuki Yamaguchi, Ibaraki Toyota Motor Corporation Chairman Hiroshi Hataya, Representative Director and President Shiro Hataya, the main sponsor of Ibaraki Dream Land 2025, Eisaku Kikkawa, Director of the Ibaraki Prefecture Sales Strategy Department, Risa Tagawa, Chairperson of the Ibaraki Taiwan General Association, and Hayato Adachi, Ibaraki Ambassador and General Producer. Tachibanakawa from Ibaraki Prefecture delivered a heartening message from the stage to everyone: “Ibaraki Prefecture has three major festivals: Rock in Japan, Lucky Festival, and Ibaraki Dreamland! Ibaraki Prefecture will support Ibaraki Dreamland with all our might!” Ibaraki Toyota also commented with a smile, “We will support Ibaraki Dreamland together with Hayato Adachi.” The Ibaraki Taiwan General Assembly also stated that it is considering expanding overseas with Taiwan in the future, saying, “We hope to hold this Dreamland event in Taiwan as well, and foster exchanges between Ibaraki, Japan, and Taiwan.”

The Ibaraki Ambassador Executive Committee included Ibaraki Ambassador Nana Suzuki, a TV personality and variety show star; Ibaraki Ambassador Hiroki Nanami, a former Takarazuka Revue star who is now active as a voice actress and artist; and Ibaraki Ambassador Hayato Adachi, all three of whom were Ibaraki Ambassadors. This produced a highly anticipated stage performance. Boasting, “There are no questions I can’t ask,” Suzuki’s naturally cheerful personality, Nanami’s sparkling presence, and Adachi’s natural personality all matched perfectly, sending the audience into fits of laughter. They engaged in private conversation and even had a Q&A session with customers. Suzuki repeatedly mentioned the name of a yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo, saying, “Let’s hold an Ibaraki Ambassadors Gathering soon!” Despite meeting everyone for the first time, their friendship was evident. They promised to gather all the Ibaraki Ambassadors again next year and do this segment again. It’s quite rare in Ibaraki Prefecture for all the Ibaraki Ambassadors to appear together on stage, and I’m looking forward to future developments.

Former Takarazuka star Miya Rurika appeared. She delivered ad-libbed lyrics to the beat as a message, almost as a greeting, and the atmosphere in the venue changed completely, drawing everyone into Miya’s world. “I’m so happy to be back at Dreamland this year,” she declared, and with her beautiful voice, she further raised the excitement in the venue, demonstrating her overwhelming presence.

Many people have probably seen him running around the venue as executive committee chairman, wearing an intercom like a staff member from the morning, preparing the day before, taking down and tidying up the next day, and even on the day itself. At the beginning of the concert, while wearing his intercom, he expressed his gratitude into the microphone to everyone in the venue: performers, staff, vendors, volunteers, security, sponsors, and attendees. He announced, “I’m Hayato Adachi, I’m going to play some music,” and removed his intercom onstage, signaling the excitement in the venue to reach its peak. It was the moment when Adachi Hayato transformed from general producer to artist. During his MC, Adachi Hayato said, “I’m not Superman, a hero, a star, or a genius. But there are some things I can do better than anyone else. That’s loving Ibaraki. That’s loving you. That’s never giving up more than anyone else. And that’s working harder than anyone else. This marks the end of this year’s Dreamland. What has stayed in your hearts these past two days? We will definitely hold it again next year. Until then, let’s do our best this year, both you and I. 。夢は見るもんじゃなく叶えるもの。夢がある人は諦めんな。本気で夢を見るから叶う夢がある。夢が見つからない人は焦んなくていいし無くたっていい。
もし夢が見つからなかったら俺がここ茨城であんたの夢をつくる、あんたの夢に俺がなる。だから一緒にそんな夢も叶えよう。世界一泥臭く輝くいばらき大使になってやるよ。そんな奴が真っすぐ人生で出会ってきた全ての人の愛が集結するフェスが年に一度のドリームランドだ。もうこの場所は僕だけのものじゃない、あんたのものだ。あなたが年に一度帰って来れる場所だ。IBARAKI DREAM LANDは全員が主役のフェスです。また来年この場所で待ってます。今年も本当に沢山の応援ありがとうございました。」 このMCが全てだろう。改めて彼の生き様に誰もが息を呑んだ。

出演者をはじめ茨城県に都内からこの合唱の為だけにCanaria東京コーラスチーム有志TENONARUHOEからなるDREAM chorus team合唱団も駆けつけドリームランド合唱団(仮)を結成。
安達は「20歳くらいの時、誰もまだファンや応援してくれる人などまだいなかった時に、いつか大きくなったら盛大に茨城を盛り上がる夢のような日を作りたくて想像して書いた一枚の絵をアパートの壁に貼ってた。それがこのドリームランドだ。誰に笑われても無理だって言われても叶えたい夢だったから諦めず頑張ってきました。もちろん今も。その時に僕のサウンドプロデューサーの芳賀さんにイメージや構想を伝えた時に芳賀さんが作ってくれた曲があります。それをみんなで歌います。
いつかこのドリームランドを茨城県最大のまちおこしフェスにします。」とコメントし、芳賀もサプライズでステージへ上げた。芳賀は「それを聞いて安達が叶えてくれると信じて10年前からこの曲を仕込んでいました。あの約束を君は今覚えてくれていますか？このフレーズから始まるこの曲が安達勇人がこの日まで生きてきたすべてです。」と嬉しそうに話した。 FANFARE(ファンファーレ)というこの曲はこのイバラキドリームランドが誕生するまでに、安達がどんな時も歩みを止めず走ってきたキセキが詰まった曲だ。 そこに沢山のピースが出会い生まれ重なり合唱中はまさに夢の中にいるような時間が流れた。
会場は自然と涙と何か忘れかけていたあの日や人の温かさに包まれ、一生に一度の人生の意味やドラマをこのドリームランドは私たちの心に残してくれた。 来年2026年このIBARAKI DREAM LAND(イバラキドリームランド)は私たちにどんな景色を見せてくれるのか。
安達は閉幕後、ステージ裏で「来年ドリームランドをさらに大規模で開催しますので是非力を貸してください。みんなで作りましょう。」と感謝と共に沢山の関係者や共演者に頭を下げていた。 私達はとんでもない夢のようなフェスに出会ってしまったのかもしれない。 まだまだこのストーリーは始まったばかり。
今後のイバラキドリームランドの歩む軌跡が楽しみだ。
