Ikuta Rira, a singer-songwriter and vocalist of YOASOBI, a unit that turns novels into music, released her digital single “Sparkle” on January 17, 2022. The single surpassed 200 million cumulative plays on the Oricon Weekly Streaming Rankings for October 27, 2025, announced on October 22. This marks her first work to surpass 200 million cumulative plays. The song was featured on the ABEMA original romance program “Kyou, Suki ni Narimashita.” It was written as the theme song for “Mikan-hen” (which began airing on January 17th of the same year) and “Kyou, Suki ni Narimashita. Graduation Edition 2022” (which began airing on February 21st of the same year). Furthermore, in May 2022, they performed the song on the YouTube channel “THE FIRST TAKE.” The video has been viewed 15 million times to date. Additionally, the audio from the performance in this project was also used as the theme song for “Kyou, Suki ni Narimashita. Graduation Edition 2022,” which aired in April of this year.
