up-and-coming flower arrangers will be showcasing their works under the theme of “The Great Flowers.” Please make sure to spread the word in advance and cover the event on the day. ≪Kyoto New Generation Ikebana Exhibition Related Event “7th Outdoor Ikebana Exhibition”≫ 1st day and time October 31st (Friday) – November 3rd (Monday/Holiday) 9:30am – 5pm *From 9:30 AM on Friday the 31st, you can watch all the participants arrange the flowers. 2. Location Kyoto Prefectural Insho Domoto Museum of Art, Garden and Entrance (26-3 Hirano Kamiyanagi-cho, Kita-ku, Kyoto) *There is no parking at the museum, so please use public transportation when visiting. 3. Contents A total of 22 works will be exhibited under the theme of “The Great Flowers.” (The museum is currently hosting the “The Great DOMOTO – Domoto Insho’s Family” special exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of his death (admission fee applies).) 4. (Kusakabe-ryu) – a total of 22 people. style=”padding:32px 0 0;”> 5 Viewing fee Free 6 Host event Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto New Generation Ikebana Exhibition Management and Executive Committee, Kyoto Prefectural Domoto Impression Museum Kyoto New Generation Ikebana Exhibition The Domoto Insho Museum Outdoor Ikebana Exhibition is being held as a related event to the “Kyoto New Generation Ikebana Exhibition.” The “Kyoto New Generation Ikebana Exhibition” has been held by Kyoto Prefecture and the Kyoto flower arrangement community since 2000 to promote the traditional culture of ikebana, which originated in Kyoto, and to nurture young flower arrangement artists. The next generation of flower arrangers from each school exhibit highly creative works that reflect fresh sensibilities while respecting tradition, and the event has been well received as it allows visitors to experience the new charms of Ikebana. 〈Previous exhibition (2020)〉
