NB.ACADEMY, a general incorporated association (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shogo Shibata; hereinafter “NB.ACADEMY”), is pleased to announce that it has renewed its media partnership agreement with Virtual High School Baseball (hereinafter “Virtual High School Baseball”), a comprehensive high school baseball information website jointly operated by The Asahi Shimbun Company (headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masaru Tsunoda) and Asahi Television Broadcasting Corporation (headquarters: Fukushima-ku, Osaka; President and CEO: Toshiaki Imamura), for the 2nd Asian Koshien Tournament, scheduled to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia in December 2025. Our goal is to spread Japan’s traditional baseball culture throughout Asia and to contribute to fostering sportsmanship and teamwork among young people through the “Asia Koshien.” The first tournament was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from Tuesday, December 17th to Saturday, December 21st, 2024, and received an overwhelming response from many participants and spectators. Building on this success, the second tournament will be even larger in scale, with the aim of inviting participants from across Asia and deepening regional exchange and friendship. Virtual High School Baseball has renewed its contract as a media partner for the 2nd Asian Koshien Tournament, strengthening its efforts to further develop the tournament. Virtual High School Baseball will support the tournament by broadcasting games, highlights, news articles, team introductions, and more, bringing the exciting Asian Koshien Tournament to baseball fans across Japan. “Virtual High School Baseball” is one of Japan’s largest streaming and information platforms, focusing on high school baseball, and is jointly operated by The Asahi Shimbun Company and Asahi Broadcasting Television Corporation. It broadcasts the National High School Baseball Championship, as well as regional tournaments and women’s high school baseball games, and is popular with baseball fans of all ages.
