AWA, a subscription-based music streaming service operated by AWA Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Akimi Togashi), has launched “Me and Girls’ Style ~YOU&I FOREVER~,” a playlist project featuring celebrities and associates of Tokyo Girls’ Style who love their music, as a special feature of their music program “Tokyo Girls’ Style Pyramid Memories” in the free online space “Lounge,” which anyone can join. The project has now released new playlists by Nao☆ (Negicco) and Kinamiumi. Tokyo Girls’ Style will close the doors on their 16-year history on March 31, 2026. AWA’s official program, “Tokyo Girls’ Style’s Pyramid Memories,” launched this project to celebrate Tokyo Girls’ Style’s contributions to the music scene and to share their previously released works with a wider audience, not just their fans. In October 2025, Nao☆ of Negicco, the Niigata-based idol group formed in 2003, and composer and arranger Kinamiumi, who has written and produced for many artists, including Tokyo Girls’ Style, will select a theme and release a playlist of songs from their unique perspective. The playlist will also be featured on the live broadcast of “Tokyo Girls’ Style Pyramid Memories” on October 23, 2025, to help boost the project.
