Her mother’s condition has been progressing rapidly recently, and she seems to have forgotten that Yoko divorced her several years ago, and every time she visits, she is constantly asked about her ex-husband and daughter. One day, Yoko is introduced to a service called “Rental Family” by a client and strongly encouraged to try it out. Although she is confused by the unfamiliar service, she cannot refuse and invites her rental husband, Go Matsushita, to her home. She hits it off with him and consults him about Chieko. Matsushita then suggests that they play a family, with Go as the husband and child actress Akari Yasuda as the daughter. As Yoko spends time with the “families” around her, she comes into contact with a new form of happiness. This is director Ryunosuke Uesaka’s directorial debut. Through a seemingly unconventional service known as “rental family,” the film carefully depicts the characters as they struggle between “acting” and “actual feelings,” but eventually come to connect with each other. Starring Yuri Ogino, the film also features talented actors such as Yui Komatsuka, Shinji Matsubayashi, and Sotaro Tanaka. Additionally, actors who are gaining attention on social media, such as Hirofumi Suzuki (Gokko Club) and Kenya Yasuda, also appear in the film. ●Starring: Ogino Yuri/Numata Yoko

He produces and casts a variety of videos, including TV commercials and programs. I feel that the way we meet, differences in age, and other small differences get in the way of the relationships that we should truly cherish. I think that the nature of relationships has been changing recently, but there are still times when the connections between people that we should truly cherish are denied, and I wanted to affirm that, so I made this film.
