Press release: October 22, 2025 To Members of the Press As part of the pre-events for the “Okayama Inclusive Festival 2026,” we have collaborated with children and students from special needs schools in Okayama Prefecture to create an original art tapestry for Omotemachi Shopping Street! 13 special needs schools from Okayama Prefecture will participate, and original art tapestries will be exhibited in the Omotemachi Shopping Arcade in February 2026! “Okayama Inclusive Festival 2026” will be held in February 2026. During the festival (February 1-15, 2026), original art tapestries will be displayed in Omotemachi Shopping Arcade. This tapestry was created by children and students from 13 special needs schools in Okayama Prefecture, and is a new initiative that connects artists and children with disabilities with the local community.
