Serina Sato, a student at Shibuya Girls’ International School (hereafter “Shibujo”), appeared on the TBS program “Sekai Kurabete Mitara,” which aired at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22nd. During the program, she participated in a “three-day, two-night lifestyle exchange” with high school students from Hokkaido. Through her new environment and interactions with new people, she demonstrated how she overcame her weaknesses. But at school, there were other people my age who were serious about becoming dairy farmers, and seeing them working so hard to raise them inspired me, and it gave me the courage to tackle things I wasn’t good at. Even though we live in different places, I learned that there are people who are just as committed to achieving their dreams, and it gave me the courage to work harder.” Changes in Emotions During the Exchange Program Nohara Mao, a high school student who came to Shibujo on an exchange program with Serina, spoke about the changes in her feelings. “I thought everyone’s makeup and fashion were the ultimate gyaru!
