Banshimoku has made a name for themselves nationwide with their addictive music and stunning live performances. Four months after their first CD release, “Slump Maker” has been released as a digital single. Amidst the inner conflicts we all face and the struggles of the “society” we’re forced to belong to, the song emotionally expresses the message that we must look forward and carve out a new path in the world, with a profound yet urgent melody and expansive, ever-accelerating vocals. In stark contrast to the previous album, which was overwhelming with its angry energy, the contrast of the earnest and honest lyrics – “I don’t want to be unable to prove it! I want to do it until I can, so don’t tease me” – is striking. The music video, which further deepens the worldview of the song, is now available! In addition, the band will hold a joint independent event called “Iai” in Tokyo and Osaka next year in 2026.
