The three runners-up for Miss World Japan presented the “30 Year MuAtsu XX,” the top model in the MuAtsu series.

competition was held in Tokyo. Finalists from across the country shared their individual beliefs and initiatives to address social issues, participating with passion in line with the competition’s philosophy of “Beauty with a Purpose.” The person selected to represent Japan is Yui Kawana, a Tokyo native. Currently active as an actor and model, she said of this competition, “I want to continue my work supporting those affected by disasters around the world, including Japan. I believe that from the stage of Miss World, I can deliver voices that cannot be heard individually to Japan and the world.” She plans to represent Japan in the upcoming global
competition.
