Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Press release: October 23, 2025 To Members of the Press Those under 18 are invited to performances and exhibitions at Tokyo Metropolitan Cultural Facilities free of charge! “Welcome Youth 2026” is being held! ~Providing an opportunity for young people to casually encounter art, hone their sensibilities, and broaden their horizons~ The Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, a public interest incorporated foundation, is launching the “Welcome Youth 2026” campaign to provide opportunities for young people under the age of 18 to become familiar with arts and culture. A total of 100 people will be selected by lottery to attend seven performances to be held at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan and Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre from January to March 2026.
Additionally, from Sunday, March 1st to Sunday, April 5th, you can enjoy nine selected exhibitions at Tokyo Metropolitan art museums and museums for free. During the free exhibition admission period, you can also participate in a digital stamp rally where you can win prizes by collecting original stamps from art museums and museums using a smartphone app (details will be announced at a later date).
