The cover has the same design on both sides, meaning there’s no top or bottom, no front or back, and it can be opened from any angle, allowing for versatile use. Representative comment I am the second-generation president of Fukoku Paper Co., Ltd. Our founder, Fumio Yokokawa (deceased), was a man from Tosa. The phrase “Tosa no Igossou” literally means stubborn and strong-willed. After a certain opportunity to become involved in the paper industry, he set his sights on becoming independent and made a name for himself in the industry as the creator of “colored kraft paper,” the origin of the now-commonly seen colorful envelopes.
