Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, China, October 16, 2025 – The eagerly awaited Doll Weekend 13 (DW13) for anime kigurumi doll enthusiasts around the world will be held at the Hangzhou Qiantang Junlan Grand Hotel from January 1 to 3, 2026. As the world’s largest anime kigurumi doll convention, this year’s event aims to be even bigger. Set in the picturesque setting of Jiangnan and borrowing the beauty of Hangzhou’s West Lake, we invite friends from all over the world who love 2D, cosplay, and mascot culture to our biggest event of the year.

After creating a “resort-style themed experience” in Heyuan for the 12th Doll Weekend, this year’s Doll Weekend will move to the Hangzhou Qiantang Junlan Grand Hotel for the first time, kicking off the first Doll Weekend of the new year in this millennium-old city, known by animation enthusiasts as a “two-dimensional paradise.” The Qiantang Junlan Grand Hotel was chosen not only for its tranquil waters of Dongsha Lake and the majestic rippling of the Qiantang River, but also for its location in the heart of Hangzhou’s animation industry development. The hotel is connected to the Lakeside Animation Cluster to the north and runs through the Xianghu Creative Belt to the south, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the city while enjoying the advantage of being “blessed on both sides.”The hotel’s design concept, inspired by Song Dynasty aesthetics, perfectly matches Hangzhou’s urban temperament of “integrating history and two-dimensionality.”
