Modulex Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director and President: Goro Terumichi), which specializes in Integrated Environmental Solutions®, has received the Excellence Award at the 2025 Mecenat Awards, sponsored by the Association for Corporate Support of the Arts (Corporate Support of the Arts). The award recognizes outstanding socially meaningful and pioneering support for arts and culture, and the company’s support of the Tokyo Women’s Orchestra was highly praised. Collaboration with the Tokyo Women’s Orchestra The Tokyo Women’s Orchestra (TWO), founded by Modulex in 2022, is Japan’s first professional classical music orchestra composed entirely of female musicians. Due to life-changing events such as childbirth and child-rearing, many female musicians find it difficult to balance their family and performance careers, leading to them abandoning their careers. Modulex provides financial support to the orchestra, which aims to improve the social status of female musicians and resolve their career issues, as well as creating opportunities for ongoing performance activities.
