Noto Reconstruction Support Station Press Release: October 24, 2025 Calligraphy that connects the memories of the Noto Peninsula earthquake: Contemporary calligrapher Kodai Monpo’s work “We Will Never Forget Noto” is now on display at Kanazawa Station. More than a year and nine months after the disaster, the Reconstruction Support Station has become a “new starting point” through art. The Noto Reconstruction Support Station (located inside Kanazawa Station, Kanazawa Hyakubangai Ando) is pleased to announce the opening of an exhibition of a deeply moving piece of work, “Never Forget Noto,” donated by contemporary calligrapher Kodai Monpo. Approximately one year and nine months have passed since the Noto Peninsula earthquake, and the road to recovery still faces many challenges. Especially now, when there are concerns that people’s interest and memories may be fading, this work, which symbolizes our bond with Noto, will serve as a sure force to prevent these memories from fading. We sincerely hope that this work will resonate with many people, reaffirm their feelings for Noto, and inspire them to take action. ■ About the exhibited works Work name 《Never Forget Noto》 Donor Contemporary calligrapher Kodai Monpo (Listening to the Dharma) Mr. Kodai) Exhibition period Until January 31, 2020 Exhibition location Inside Noto Reconstruction Support Station (inside Kanazawa Hyakubangai Ando)
