singer-songwriter Yoshiko Hanzaki and others. A portion of the proceeds and donations collected at the venue will be donated to children in need. In addition, there will be three pre-event pre-performance concerts that can be viewed for free! Respect Music Inc. Anointed Mass Choir (located in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture; representative: Tanaka Manabu) will hold the “Anointed Mass Choir Christmas Concert in TOKYO ‘FOR PEACE'” concert at the Ota Civic Hall Aprico Grand Hall on Monday, December 15, 2025. The performers will be the gospel group “Anointed Mass Choir” (hereafter “Anointed”), celebrating its 26th anniversary this year. Singer-songwriter Yoshiko Hanzaki will be the guest. Additionally, band members Dan Yoshikawa (drums) and Katsuhiko Sasai BJ (bass) will also be joining the performance. The theme is “FOR PEACE” A portion of the proceeds from this concert, as well as donations made at the venue (donors will also receive charity merchandise), will be donated to Save the Children. We hope that this donation will be of some help to children in need around the world, including children suffering from poverty in Japan and children suffering from the devastation of war in Ukraine and Gaza. In addition, there will be three free pre-performance concerts where you can listen to Anointed’s gospel music live before the concert. Celebrating its 26th anniversary in June 2025, we are one of Japan’s leading nationwide mass choirs, expressing each individual’s message through heartfelt harmony, regardless of religion or occupation. They have performed with famous artists from Japan and abroad, including Chie Ayado, Ayaka Hirahara, Yumi Matsutoya, and Stevie Wonder. They also actively participate in school concerts at over 170 schools nationwide, conveying the message of “adult hard work” to children who will be the leaders of the future. (Most of the members are ordinary people who normally work for regular companies. Many of them are women, and the concerts are also organized by the members themselves, providing a second outlet for working women.) This year marks 80 years since the end of the war, and Anointed has continued to perform in the hope that people all over the world can live in peace. We are holding this Christmas concert in the hope that everyone who comes to the venue will smile, that those smiles will spread throughout the world, and that the world will become more peaceful, and that the children who will lead the next generation in particular will be able to have a happy end to the year.
