Date: Saturday, November 22nd and Sunday, November 23rd, 2025 Venue: Yokohama Sympho Stage Yamaha Corporation (hereinafter, “our company”), in collaboration with Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., will hold “PLAY FOREST – Ride, Play, and Play in the Forest,” an experiential event for parents and children on the theme of forest conservation, at the Yokohama Sympho Stage (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) for two days, November 22nd (Sat) and 23rd (Sun), 2025.

Our company aims to realize “spiritually enriching lives for people around the world” and is promoting measures to build a sustainable society. Based on this policy, we are carrying out the “Oto no Mori” (Sound Forest) initiative (※1) in various locations both in Japan and overseas to protect rare woods essential for musical instrument manufacturing and create sustainable forests for the future. Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. is committed to promoting harmony with the global environment. As part of this effort, we are raising awareness of the charms of nature through the popularization of four-wheeled buggies and electrically assisted mountain bikes for forestry enjoyment. We also provide forest measurement services that visualize the value of forests, contributing to the efficiency of forestry and forest conservation. Otonomori Castanet Handmade Workshop You will handcraft castanets using scraps from the instrument manufacturing process and unused wood from materials research.
