Since the early 2000s, Tanizaki has been presenting natural landscapes created with an accumulation of tiny dots, the origin of which is the swirl. Positioning vortices as the origin of all things in the universe, and by expressing a world of vortices in a minimalist way, he explores the origins of our lives, our everyday world, and the universe, which arise from the movement of energy. Interested in modern realism’s exploration of human existence and social reality, as well as the profound spiritual and structural explorations of modern abstraction, we pay respect to the flow of art from modern to contemporary, and shine a light on artists with a sensibility that sensitively captures the signs of the times. We support artists who pursue diverse, essential forms of expression from an international perspective, regardless of nationality or career history. Through these activities, we aim to introduce universal trends in art that reflect contemporary society.
