The half-century-old Japanese robot anime “Voltes V” has been made into a live-action film thanks to the Philippines’ overwhelming love! ＜Introduction＞ It’s been nearly half a century since the 1977 TV anime “Super Electromagnetic Machine Voltes V” aired. In the Philippines, where the series enjoys even more enthusiastic support than in Japan, it has been adapted into a live-action film and a massive 90-episode TV series! It has finally made a triumphant return to its birthplace, Japan, where it was released in theaters as “Voltes V Legacy.” For its theatrical release in Japan, the film “Voltes V Legacy” has been re-edited, including the addition of scenes not included in the Philippine version, and the quality of the visuals has been
significantly improved. The film has been released in the more powerful “Choudenji Edited Version.”
