J SPORTS Press release: October 24, 2025 To Members of the Press All stages of the “FORUM8 Rally Japan 2025” will be broadcast live every day! Tamura Ryo has been appointed as the program’s cheer leader, and Umemoto Madoka and Toyohara Kenjiro have been appointed as cheering members! Sports television station J SPORTS Inc. (Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ichiro Hase; hereinafter “J SPORTS”) J SPORTS *1) will be delivering an overwhelming amount of coverage this year as well from FORUM8 Rally Japan 2025 (hereinafter referred to as Rally Japan 2025), the 13th round of the WRC World Rally Championship 2025, which will be held in Aichi and Gifu prefectures. J SPORTS On Demand *2, which can be viewed on PC, smartphone, and tablet, will broadcast live all special stages (SS) from SS1 at Kuragaike Park on Thursday, November 6th to SS20 at Lake Mikawa on Sunday, November 9th. As a service that broadcasts all WRC races, J SPORTS will also be broadcasting live the Kuragaike Park shakedown *3 on Thursday, November 6th, the opening ceremony in front of Meitetsu Toyotashi Station, and the spectacular ceremonial finish at Toyota Stadium after the race on Sunday, November 9th, in order to convey the appeal of Rally Japan beyond the SSs. And this year, to further boost J SPORTS’ coverage of Rally Japan 2025, we’ve formed a program cheering squad of famous car enthusiasts. The cheering squad leader is Ryo Tamura, a huge car enthusiast currently competing in the TGR Rally Challenge. Members include Madoka Umemoto, who has competed in Rally Japan as a co-driver for three consecutive years, and Kenjiro Toyohara, the announcer who will be providing live commentary for J SPORTS’ WRC coverage starting this season. Ryo Tamura and Madoka Umemoto will be reporting on the excitement at each stage as field reporters and commentators, bringing you the excitement every day. In addition, prior to the opening ceremony at Hisaya-odori Park in Naka-ku, Nagoya, there will be a two-day public broadcast on Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th at the “FORUM EIGHT Rally Japan Support Festival @Hisaya-odori Park,” which will be held from Sunday, November 2nd to Sunday, November 9th. On Saturday, November 8th, we’ll be featuring former Chunichi Dragons player Kenshin Kawakami, and on Sunday, November 9th, we’ll be featuring Chunichi Dragons player Daisuke Sobue and Speedwagon’s Jun Idota. They’ll be livening up the Rally Japan broadcast with their lively conversations, so be sure to come along to the event!
