next-generation entertainment and news~ Nippon Television Network Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroyuki Fukuda; hereinafter “the Company”) has invested in Frontier Innovations I Investment Limited Partnership (hereinafter “the Fund”), a fund managed by Frontier Innovations Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tatsuhiko Nishimura; hereinafter “FI”) that specializes in investing in deep tech startups, including those in the space industry. This investment is a strategic investment aimed at specifically accelerating the “space business venture” initiative outlined in the Company Group’s Medium-Term Management Plan 2025-2027. By gaining opportunities for co-creation with promising space startups, we hope to contribute to the development of next-generation space-based entertainment, the evolution of news reporting, and business development.

It was founded by a team formerly with the Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (INCJ), which has a strong track record of lead investments in the space and deep tech fields, including five publicly listed space startups.
