Universities Popular Companies Want to Hire: 115 Companies x 52 Universities – Full Employment Figures Revealed As of the end of September, 88.9% of current fourth-year students had received informal job offers. With the trend toward earlier job hunting and the spread of long-term internships, there’s a growing trend toward pinpointing specific companies and narrowing down and applying deeply. Rather than receiving informal offers from multiple companies and then deciding on a new job, students are increasingly focusing on a single,
pre-selected company. In this issue, with the cooperation of University Communications, we present a table listing the number of students from 52 major universities graduating in March 2025 who have been hired by each of 115 popular companies. We also introduce trends emerging from the overall survey. We also cover the resurgence of “mainstream” industries like automobiles and electrical equipment, Nitori’s internship program, and career education at various universities. We offer data and testimonials to help students choose the “single, satisfying company,” covering everything from university corporate development efforts to corporate development initiatives. Portrait of a Modern Man: TERU GLAY is a rock band that has
consistently been at the top of the music industry. Vocalist TERU began to take painting seriously during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this installment of “Portraits of the Modern Age,” we take a closer look at contemporary artist TERU. TERU, who is immersed in his work in his studio every morning, continues to paint, drawing on the connections and advice he received in Venice, Italy. At the heart of his passion is his desire to “liven up his hometown of Hakodate with art.” We will portray his current situation, where his perspective on others encourages him to take on challenges, such as planning a future art festival and supporting young artists. Serial “Complex Square” by Kudo Asuka A new series begins in which prominent figures from various fields talk about their insecurities.
